Cancer experts have drawn comparisons between the current state of evidence and awareness regarding EMF radiation to the situation with cigarettes in the 1950s. Despite credible scientific evidence, there is very little awareness on the topic and relatively little funding for additional research.

Given the growing body of evidence that there may be health risks and the exponential increases in exposure to EMF radiation, general awareness of potential health risks is a major health issue today. This is especially true amongst parents and pregnant women.

Core to the Belly Armor mission and vision is responsibly spreading awareness on the topic of everyday radiation. While it is true there is credible scientific evidence of health risks, the truth is we do not fully understand the extent and nature of these risks today.

Our objective is to inform parents and pregnant women about the current state of scientific evidence on everyday radiation so they may factor this information into their everyday decisions. To this aim, we provide resources via our website, educational materials, and community events to help you educate yourself and help you educate your loved ones.

To help increase this awareness we have launched a grassroots campaign, modeled after the awareness campaigns in the 1960s-70s targeting the health issues around tobacco. The Advocates Program is a group of individuals who recognize the need to increase awareness on this topic and are committed to doing something about it.
